L'emplacement est propice à se rendre aux différents endroit phares de Varanasi. Le lieu est également sympa et traditionnel.

Les outils et matériaux mis à disposition étaient moindres.. Le drap était trop petit, nous avons donc du en demander un autre. Le lit avait toute l'armature en bois cassé et le matelas était un peu affaissé. Nous avons demandé du papier toilette car cela n'était pas mis à disposition, on nous a donc proposé de nous l'acheter (il nous en a finalement donné un après avoir insisté). Les sanitaires sont également à revoir (pas de sac poubelle surtout si on doit y jeter nos papier dedans). Par cause de pluie, le sol est également glissant et dangereux et aucun d'entretien du sol a été fait. De plus, le personnel étaient peu accueillant et soucieux dès notre arrivé.

Beautiful building and terraces; excellent staff able to help with some tourist activities (yoga, car); located 1 minute walk from Darbhanga Ghat, good wifi, so-so AC but the fan helped, beautiful room. Even though it is nestled besides the ghats, it is quite easy to find (as it is located next to a very prominent hotel).

The bed itself could have been a bit more comfortable, or at least with more than one tiny pillow. AC was just barely strong enough to stay comfortable, but if it were any hotter it would have been uncomfortable. And this is not a criticism of the excellent hostel, but you should be aware that you'll need to walk at least 300 meters to get here from the nearest car/rigshaw -- many of the lanes of varanasi are TINY so you will need to carry your luggage at least 10 minutes.

Location is perfect to go to the river, and all the small shop shopping in small roads in the city. Staff were very friendly, you could request for a laundry as well with a low price. The building is lovely, with its own unique vibe and I loved it.

No toilet paper in washroom, as I understand the locals do use water only instead. You can buy your own in a little stores outside tho.

Beautiful comfortable building, a rare place where they take the security and safety of the place seriously and it shows in how safe and comfortable I then felt during my stay there. Amazing views and location and beautiful staff.
