Mu Homestay Tetebatu

Mu and his team took great care of us, the rice field tour was definitely our highlight. The location is also great, we loved being in the middle of nature.

You WILL wake up at 5am for the prayers, but that's the same everywhere in this area.

Beautiful cottage, we loved the chilled private space and two separate bedrooms. The staff were very attentive. Andy took us on a tour - his local knowledge was fantastic and he was also fun. The food afterwards was very tasty. Thank you. Highly recommend

Mu was lovely. Very friendly, excellent English. The accom was great. Good hot shower with strong water pressure, comfortable bed, and good AC. We did a tour with one of Mu’s guides, Sapwandy (Andy). He was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and charismatic.

Lovely staff, very friendly and honest people. Unique, fresh and clean local food. Nor to forget the fantastic home made sambal terasi ;) Very flexible service if you need vegetarian and/or glutenfree options. Very quiet and peaceful place, surrounded by nature. First class half day tour around Tetebatu with great local guide.

I absolutely loved my time at Mu’s Homestay - in-fact, it was one of the highlights of my two month trip! Sometimes, Ryan and Andy are the kindest people and make you feel like part of the family in their beautiful homestay. I’m already planning a trip back to Tetebatu to visit!

I loved everything about my stay!

I LOVED my time at MU Homestay. Mr Mu's team are simply excellent hosts and I loved chatting with them. MU helped me organise my onward travels and has a reliable driver if you need help getting there. Highlights for me were the tour with Andi where you can step out of the back garden to start the tour, and then Ryan's food was so good! Would highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful homestay in the heart of Tetebatu Village. Mu, his family and staff were all so friendly and welcoming and made myself and other guests feel part of the family. The location is perfect as well, in the middle of the village close to the rice fields, waterfalls and monkey forest. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Indonesia and I would love to stay there again
