Mu Homestay Tetebatu

What a gem from a human and touristic perspective. Everything is much better than expected and our expectations have been very high. We had the best short holiday of our lives 🙌

Great stay, really good local food and once you've done the tour of the rice fields and learn about the agriculture you will appreciate the food even more. Mu and his staff are excellent. Our guide Sometimes deserves special praise for a great tour and being an all round good guy.

Welcoming host family, clean room and good location to explore Tetebatu

Very friendly staff. Large deluxe room on 2nd floor, plus large bathroom and large balcony on 3rd floor.

Wonderful, very caring staff. We had beautiful days thanks to the well-organized excursions that gave us insight into the local culture. Our son in particular was looked after with great care, and during the long trip to the rice fields, our guide made a special effort to make it enjoyable and fun for him. A huge thank you for that! It was truly a very special stay that will always remain in our memories.

Nothing really to complain about. The only thing that could be improved would be to renovate the room a little, for example with a fresh coat of paint in some places. Also, even though the beds don’t need to be made every day, for example, the trash could be taken out more regularly

Everything. You get service for your money. Very helpful. What you need Mu will fix it. Low budget traveller? No problem. He doesn't force a tour on you but will help you plan your budget visits. Good people.

This is the place you want to stay when you come to Tetebatu! Mr Mu, his family and the staff are so incredibly friendly, are there for you all day long and help you with everything to get the most out of your stay and so you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings that Tetebatu has to offer. They offer various tours that you should definitely do. I did both the tour through the rice fields, waterfall and monkey forest as well as the tour along the villages with local crafts. Both guides; Sometime and Andy were fantastic and bring all the information with so much enthusiasm! But they also provide the cozy atmosphere in the homestay with their live music on the guitar, and drum! Great!! The room was also very nice, spatious, very clean and had a very nice terrace with a view over the rice fields. Also the food was delicious!

This place felt like home! The guys working at MU homestay are the best and made our stay very comfortable. We had a beautiful bungalow int he rice fields, very modern and clean and with ac. In the morning breakfast was served at our terras and in the evening we had dinner in the little restaurant. One of the hight lights was the guys paying and singing guitar during dinner! We took a tour with Andy who was amazing! He took us around the rice fields, showing us how rice is cultivated, viewpoints, fresh coconuts, a waterfall in a cave, a coffee break and the monkey forrest. He was the best, had so much knowledge and was so friendly. The tour even included lunch back at the house.
