Mu Homestay Tetebatu

This is a superb homestay in a beautiful location. Mu, his family and staff made us so welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time chatting with them all and other guests in the communal area. The food was superb. We did a rice field, waterfall and monkey forest tour with Andy, which was great. Andy was extremely knowledgeable and speaks excellent English. I would 100% recommend this place.

The staff were so lovely and made my time in Tetebatu amazing! Sometimes, Ryan, and Andie, along with Mr. Mu (and others but I didn't catch their names) were friendly, helpful, and always making sure I was having a good time. I stayed in the new twin bungalow and it was lovely. There were some bugs in the room (probably because its new and you're in the jungle) but they didn't bother me too much! The beds were comfy, the wifi worked great, and being in the rice field was amazing. Highly recommend!

We have had a wonderful time with Mu and his family. We stayed for two nights, together with our 2 young kids. Their accommodation is nice and clean, though their freshly prepared local food is amazing. Rarely I have met so sweet and lovely people, we felt welcome from the beginning to the end, also with special thanks to Sometimes, who was an excellent guide for us ánd the kids, when doing the rice field walk. If you want to be close to a sweet Indonesian family in a beautiful surrounding like Tetebatu, this is your stay.

Cutest homestay in Tetebatu and family atmosphere at its purest! My husband and I stayed here for the second time and enjoyed it so much again 😀 a big thank you to the whole stuff who do a great job to make you feel home as a guest.

I loved my stay here SO MUCH. I wish I let myself extend. The staff were so insanely nice and looked after me so well. I stayed in the newest twin lodge which was only 3 weeks old. So nice and modern and absolutely blew my mind how luxurious it felt. And you’re literally staying in a rice field!!! Would thoroughly recommend to everyone. Also if you have a car, they do have a parking spot.

Really beautiful bungalow, I loved all the wooden details - and the staff were just the kindest. Our friend was ill when she arrived and they were so helpful, bringing her bags, checking in on her and bringing medicine. We really appreciated that!

Over the course of this week, we absolutely fell in love with Indonesia, not least of all because of the hospitality shared with us at Mu homestay. Though daily prayer calls prevent the landscape from being peaceful per se, its beauty is undeniable. From choosing meals, to booking local tours, to getting a ride to the airport everything was easy, fairly priced, and so much fun with the staff here. Beyond that, our room was lovely with beautiful views, comfy pillows, strong ac, and my favorite soap at any hotel we’ve stayed at. Andy, Ryan, and Sometimes made us feel like old friends. We’d absolutely come back and recommend to anyone we know looking to visit Indonesia
