Very clean, nice location, really lovely host

Mooie ligging in het groen, super schoon en alles is zeer goed onderhouden. De host is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er heerst rust.

Eigelijk niets, wellicht de open ruimte tussen de badkamers, daardoor hoor je alles.

Close to the beach just min walking distance

The rooms were clean.

I urge anyone booking here to reconsider their stay.  By far, the worst owners we have ever dealt with. I have been a booking.com member for over 10 years. In that time, I have never had need to make a complaint or move hotels. I also worked within the hotel industry for over 20 years and also know that you have to take the good with the bad when booking accommodations. The guesthouse features are quite exaggerated and do not represent the true nature of the guesthouse.  The guesthouse is probably a good 200-300 metres walk to the beach entrance, there are no sea views even in the higher rooms, no hot water, the rooms are VERY small and have no basic features such as kettle, glasses, chair, mirror etc.  One of the rooms we were offered did not have a private bathroom and 2 of the rooms had each of the bathrooms where they backed onto each other yet the walls do not meet the ceiling so completely lacks privacy. You can actually hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the room next door. There are no top sheets on the beds. Rather you are left with a towel size piece of crappy fabric. One of the rooms could not be locked at all leading to us feeling that this was not at all safe to leave our belongings. There is drinking water left in the room, but of course we were told we had to pay for it.  Not what you would expect for this price point. We checked into Ocean Villa with 5 rooms over 3 reservations for 5 nights.  I emailed the owners 5 months before our stay to check that all rooms had air conditioning as that was a priority for us. The owners replied that they were. I sent her all booking numbers and she did not clarify that 2 of the rooms did not have air-conditioning even though she had plenty of time to address my numerous emails, she did not. I believe she lied by omission to secure the large booking. When we arrived we found that only 3 of the rooms had air conditioning. At the time of check in, the rooms were like saunas.
