The caretakers of Ocean villa were amazing and accommodating! They were the reason for the overall excellent rating

It’s a cosy place in a calm area, not far from the beach. The bed was comfortable and the room comes with AC. The room itself is a bit small for the price but it’s a nice location. All in all it was a good stay

An oversight our behalf but staying here on a Friday night meant it was very loud! Only provided one very soft pillow so not very comfy for sleeping. Room was very clean and as advertised. The actual site was really lovely and the hosts were very friendly! We got lost trying to find it every time as location was a bit set off the main road!

Good location close to the beach on a quiet road away from the main town. Unfortunately the room we had was small and very hot with an uncomfortable bed. Basic continental breakfast, helpful laundry facilities and scooter hire, however the second day the scooter was not available at the time we had requested it the day before. Much less personal than other homestays that we experienced. Also, unfortunately, my shoes were stolen from outside the house and the hosts did not take responsibility or offer any compensation or apology. Safe to say we left here earlier than planned.

The location was good.

I would love to write a positive review, but unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The photos of the accommodation we had booked looked different from the room and bathroom we were assigned. The bathroom was not very hygienic, and the space was extremely cramped for three people. Our booking included air conditioning, but upon arrival, the owner stated that it would only be activated if we paid an additional 2000 LKR per day. Even after showing our booking confirmation from Booking.com, which clearly included air conditioning, the owner refused to turn it on without extra payment. The listing does not match what you actually get, and the owners were not friendly. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
