GBSpacious room, extremely clean and tidy. Lots of delicious treats in the room. Donna and Marcus were very very kind and nice. The view is amazing. Beds so comfortable! Great sunsets. The fields are stunning and peaceful. The gazebo is lovely and cozy, we loved everything of this place and will come back 100% in our next trip to the beautiful Devon. Thank you. I really want to congratulate with Donna and Marcus because it is very rare to find such a meticulous care in everything.

GBWe had a wonderful 2 night stay at Merrifield House in Kingsbridge, Devon. Donna was such a lovely and informative host and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our dog Willow was treated like a VIP too, with a dog bed, bowls and treats all provided, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the stay even more special. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and in a great location for exploring the area. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend Merrifield House to anyone visiting Devon, especially those travelling with dogs.
GBThe owners are very friendly and take great pride in their home. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The snug had the feeling of a Swiss chalet which provided a great escape for my teenage son in the evenings! Great location in the South Hams, easy to get to Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Noss Mayo… Thoughtful details for our dog included a bed, towel, bowls and treats. 5*
GBThe location as ideal for us .Everything was within easy reach to where we wanted to go. Both Donna and Marcus could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We would certainly return if we were going to that area again.

GBRoom was on the ground floor which was perfect for my 97 year old mother. The snug had everything needed to make your own breakfast and sit there in the evening. Marcus lit the log burner for us, so it was very cosy.
My mother thought a bedside lamp would be good, as she needed to get up in the night and the main light switch was at the other end of the room.

GBMerrifield is a wonderful place to stay, we return again and again, we simply love it there! The rooms are so comfortable, all the little touches wonderful, the hosts are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The Snug is such a huge bonus for cosy evenings, lazy mornings, whiling away a few rainy hours, enjoying a breakfast or supper, preparing a picnic - so many options!
