Green Chromide is a fabulous place to stay! As we are a family of 6 adults we enjoyed the whole of the space with the waterfront cottages as well as one room in the main house. It is beautifully located right on the river front, perfect for lolling about in hammocks and enjoying dinner and breakfast by the water. The food was also delicious, with a very extensive breakfast provided. We loved playing badminton in the garden and Sunaina (the very lovely and helpful host) organised bike hire for us so we could explore the island. She also organised a canal boat ride for us - punting through the backwaters with the delightful Vishnu as our guide was a highlight one afternoon/evening.

Fantastic stay, cannot recommend highly enough. Beautiful location, clean, spacious, outside space, landlady was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Food was delicious.

Je n'ai passé que 2 nuits ici, mais je les aurais bien volontiers prolongé, dans ce sens merveilleusement bien. Sunaina et sa famille m'ont accueilli comme un membre à part entière de celle-ci Merci pour les excellents conseils et pour avoir vendu mon séjour inoubliable 🙏🏼 Ne manquez surtout pas la délicieuse cuisine et notamment le green chromide cuit dans une feuille de bananier ou le ragoût de crevettes 😋 Allez-y les yeux fermés

Wow what a fabulous homestay. Best place I've ever stayed If you want peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting then this is the place. The hosts are fantastic and very helpful but do not intrude on our space
