"Amazing hosts & location"

Sunaina and family were very lovely, warm, welcoming hosts and did everything they could to make our stay special. We loved the peaceful location of the rooms by the river & the cleanliness & comfort of the rooms. Sunaina also helped us to book a super authentic & relaxing massage (at sparsh) and also a canoe trip which we loved. Would recommend without hesitation.

Incredibly beautiful location by the waterside, the palm trees reflecting against a clear blue sky and the Brahmin Kites skimming the water to catch the Green Chromide fish. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

A religious festival was taking part during our stay in February. For us that spoilt the tranquility as the singing played across the water on loud speakers and started at 5:00am and carried on for hours. But that certainly is nothing to do with the home stay.

Ideal location at Munroe Island! Beautiful stay in front of the backwaters, where you can also take a refreshing swim after a day in the hot sun. The Island is easily walkable, and the hotel is also close to center with shops and tuktuks. The staff was excellent and made us feel at home and helped us organise a magical sunset canoe ride as well as a taxi to Varkala, both for very reasonable prices! The cottage was very cozy and the whole property had a lot of beautiful small touches that made this an ideal and memorable stay at Munroe Island. Breakfast was filling and dinner was tasty as well, you'll have a candlelight dinner which was very romantic and beautiful setting!
