Ella Nature valley homestay

The house and family were fantastic. We regreted only staying there two nights, should've stayed st least two. Perfect location.

Nothing to say can even describe what was the feelings, experience.. everything We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Nature Valley Homestay in Ella. The place was very calm, clean, and tidy, perfect for relaxing in the beautiful natural surroundings. What made the stay truly special was the warm and welcoming family atmosphere. Priyantha, his son Vihanga, and the entire family treated us like one of their own, and we quickly became a small part of their beautiful life. It felt like home away from home. I am already looking forward to my next visit, and this time, I’ll be sure to bring some Arabic recipes to share with them. Can’t wait to return Family, We love you ❤️❤️

Hosts were so kind and accommodating, they really helped us with organising rides when in Ella we found tuktuk drivers would try to rip you off. Cute breakfast and a nice room with a pretty view.

Bathroom was a little dusty/ didn't feel super clean. Out of other places we stayed it was considerably better though - and we booked last minute. Tour guiding wasn't particularly knowledgable but very friendly.

Owners were very welcoming, friendly and attentive provided us with flask of boiling water to make our tea in the room, on request. Breakfast lovely on patio overlooking beautiful gardens. 2 comfortable king sized beds with mosquito nets were welcomed.

The owners are very kind and will help you to get around. They helped with booking a train ticket, arranged a fair price tuktuk driver and they serve the best rice and curry of the town. If you have small children, you will appreciate the garden and fence. It is not the most close to the centre, but with a Tuktuk it is still something like 5 minutes.

It is a bit noisy as it is located on the corner of a road, but this should be better by now. The owner said they would start working on soundproofing the day after we left. I gave them some advice on how we do this in The Netherlands which they welcomed.

This place is highly recommended! The owner and his family are the nicest people you'll meet in sri lanka. It was always nice to talk with them and learn about theis culture and lives. The room was clean and comfortable, the house is beautiful with a nice garden. The breakfast was delicous and different each day. They always pick you up or drop you id if needed and you pay about 400 lkr for tuk tuk to the city center.

Honestly, waking up and seeing the mountains in front of you is beautiful! The owner is always there to make sure everything is okay and if you need anything. It's a little far from the center (which didn't bother me because I love walking). The owner's son can take you to the center or pick you up for 500lkr each way, a very affordable price considering that the tuk tuks charge tourist prices 🤦🏼‍♀️… anyway, walking you get to the center in 30 minutes and you pass through beautiful tea and rice plantations. The room is super big and I repeat, waking up and seeing a beautiful landscape through the window is all that's good about it! Haaa the breakfast it’s great!!! It is not included but it is worth paying for it!

Everything was exceptional. I enjoyed that place very much. A very peaceful and lovely place. The view of the property was marvelous. The meals and breakfast are especially excellent. I recommend this place to everyone.

The family were so kind and helpful. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Dinner and breakfast (additional cost) were delicious. A driver service was also available which was really helpful as the location is out of town. A beautiful location and a very warm welcome. I would stay again.
