Sigiri Siesta Homestay

Felt so welcomed by the owner and his family. Welcome drink on arrival. Breakfast every morning was amazing with great fresh fruit and coffee. He helped us plan what we wanted to do during our time in sigiriya, organising all the Tuktuks and bike hire, and helped us get the bus to our next destination. His English was amazing and it was so nice chatting with him. Located on a nice quiet road with plenty of restaurants and shops 10 minute walk away. Felt us and our belongings were safe and secure as well.

The host was so nice. He helped us from the second we arrived.

It was our first stop in Sri Lanka and we didn't know what was a fair price and what wasn't, we feel that the host played us in different occasions. Moreover, we got scammed BIG TIME on our last day as he took us to a Herbal Garden where there was a man who assured he was a doctor, manexpained himself for 30 minutes and pushed us into buying some shit that burned our faces.

The family is really welcoming and make you feel like home. Speaking with the family after the day and getting to know them was amazing. The breakfast is abundant and really nice.

Amazing place. Very quiet, very clean and super comfortable really. They received me very well, helped me with indications of things to do around and cooked good food for me. Felt really good, value for money is exceptional.

We really enjoyed our stay in the guest house! The Host is extremely friendly and helpful: he quickly organized for us safari, tuk-tuk to Lion Rock (about 5-10 minutes ride), tasty homemade dinner and transfer to Trinkomale. Also we had a small tour across his garden. Breakfast was very tasty and all the atmoshere was like you came to your good friend. When we visit Sri Lanka again we will choose this guest house again!

It is not a problem but a kindly reminder for travellers: there are 2 rooms and in 1 there is AC (for extra payment), but in another one there is only a fan. However, it was ok for us.

A very nice place to stay when going to Sigiriya. The owners are very nice people and made sure we were comfortable at all times. They also helped arrange some activities and our transfer to Trincomalee.

The photos in booking only show one of the bedrooms, but we stayed in a different one that was not what we had reserved. It was a bit less spacious and with less windows. But overall it was a nice room as well. I would suggest adding the photos of the other room in booking

Beautiful property, lovely rooms, and such a lovely family! Couldn’t recommend it more!

The host was so attentive and a lovely spacious room. The breakfast was amazing with tea and coffee! He helped us arrange a tuktuk to take us into dambulla and wait with our bags whilst we went to the temple. This homestay is amazing for the price, can’t recommend more. A 5 minute tuktuk into Sigiriya!

Very friendly and helpful host. Great local breakfast. Nice and quiet place. We really enjoyed our stay :)

Although a bit off the beaten track (10 mins walk from the main road), we had an excellent 3 night stay here. Wonderful breakfast, great bedroom and helpful owner.
