Sigiri Siesta Homestay

If you want a very pleasant accommodation tucked away in nature full of greenery of various plants and flowers and where the beautiful sound of birds wakes you up in the morning, then this is the right place for you

We stayed here for two nights. Nice, clean, big room with everything you need. Breakfast was very tasty, and we even had a dinner here, which we also enjoyed. The owner is very friendly, and he will make sure you have a pleasant stay. He arranged morning safari in Hurulu eco park for us. Room was just like in the pictures, and everything was exactly as we agreed on - that was the most important thing for us, and that’s why I would recommend this stay without a doubt!

The add some kind of perfume in the room to smell nicer, but for us it was too strong. It will vanish eventually, but that’s the only thing I’d change

We are at a loss for words to describe how wonderful this place was. A wonderful family with whom we could spend time, learn about their culture, and be guests in their home. The owner is very helpful and has a great place to recommend. The house is located right by the jungle. The breakfasts were different every day and very delicious.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mahesh house! All his family was so kind with us. We feeled like home and so welcomed! Everything was so perfect and clean in the room! Mahesh is so worried about you having the best trip and give you some precious informations about Sigiriya. Thanks for everything

Only one day we had some noise around 4am because kids were awake and our room was next to where Mahesh and his family are living. It never happen again!

The room is very nice and big and has a lovely ensuite. Mahesh and his family are so nice and helpful in providing information about Sigiriya and the various attractions to visit. We loved our stay here and highly recommend this homestay !

The most welcoming family, they are so lovely and hospitable. Mahesh sat outside with us and talked through various activities we could do whilst there and best transport to other places for our ongoing trip. The room was so nice and smelled so good! Good location and easy to get tuk tuks organised to go to different places and into town. Room did get slightly hot because of it being a fan and no AC but fan was powerful. Delicious breakfast aswell, would 100% recommend!
