Everything was perfect, the atmosphere the host was an amazing person. Good breakfast and amazing room.

The only thing is that is a bit far from the rocks but with a driver or tuktuk all perfect :)

Nothing If they have AC that's great

This was one of the best homestays we have stayed in. Mahesh and his family welcomed us into their home- he told us all about the area, advice for sightseeing, and local traditions. We had delicious breakfasts of eggs, dahl, and fresh fruit. Mahesh helped us to organise tuktuks and taxis to different locations. The room was non-AC but very comfortable with the ceiling fan. Thank you Mahesh!

Clean rooms and washroom.

Mahesh and his family were so kind and caring. I was greeted with a tasty welcome drink and cooked lovely breakfasts. I joined the family both evenings for tea and chats. The rooms were very very clean and comfortable. Bed was big and had mosquito net which is always appreciated. Mahesh organised a tuk tuk anytime I needed one and he dropped me to the bus station very early one morning. You can walk to Lions Rock from the homestay.

Mahesh is an exceptional host and his family is adorable. They spent time with us and were very caring. Our best experience in Sri Lanka so far. They provided recommendations, and Mahesh arranged everything for us at fair prices: scooter, safari, which was an amazing experience. He also took us to an herbal garden where we had a great massage. He prepared delicious dinner and breakfast. The room is spacious and clean, with an extremely large and comfortable bed. What was initially planned as one-night stay turned into 3 nights stay because of the wonderful experience. If you're looking for an authentic experience with extraordinary local people, this is definitely the place to go.

The room is great, it has everything you need. But the important thing here is: i’ve travelled a lot and i’ve been in different places and stays. This one has been my best experience by far. Mahesh has treated me like one of its kind. He has show me around, met all his family, took me to different dinners with his friends… I’ve never felt and lived such a good and local experience. If you are coming to Sigiriya, this is best place to stay ever.
