Dreamscape home stay

This is a great homestay! The room is compact, but you have everything that you need at a great price. The breakfast was delicious and it was great speaking with the family about Sri Lanka and things to do around Kandy. They were very helpful in getting us a Tuktuk to the bus stand and gave us a walking shortcut to the sacred tooth relic. I highly recommend!

The view was perfect.

I wish they have a more comfortable beds to sleep but overall it was a nice stay.

Clean and cozy room with beautiful view, accompanied in the house with very friendly host and his family. We got recommendations on what to do and see around and also arranged a transport from Kandy to Ella.

The breakfast was very delicious. The family were very accommodating and welcoming. We felt very at home. Had we been staying longer we would have stayed here for more days.

Great value for your money to spend your time in Kandy. The host family is really nice, friendly. We had a decent room with a wonderful view and a huge terrace.

We had a fantastic stay here. We were immediately welcoming in by host and family. It’s in a peaceful location, away from busy and loud town centre which was a great escape for us. The hosts kindly provided a delicious breakfast and we would absolutely stay here again.

Mahesh and his family are wonderfully warm hosts and it was a privilege to be welcomed into their home. We especially loved being invited to watch his mum and sister cook us a delicious dinner of curry and rice, and the interactions with his nephew who was visiting at the time. A real authentic homestay experience and one of our favourite memories from our time in Sri Lanka!

There was nothing we didn't like - everything was as expected from a Sri Lankan homestay. If you are looking for 5 star luxuries then perhaps this is not the place for you, however if you are an open-minder traveller who values real connection with local people and can go without your super plush towels for a night or two then you will love Dreamscape Homestay!
