The Bike House

I liked that I was always able to use the toilet when needed and/or have a shower. I also liked the fact that I had space in the fridge for my food and that I could cook. Riccardo was always helpful and answered any questions I had. I especially liked that he gave me the key to pick up my luggage even though I had checked out. The mattress was super comfortable and the property was 4 blocks away from the beach 🏖️.

I was alone as travelling solo and whilst I met people they were in pairs. Also as I am a backpacker it was a bit expensive for me for more than a week.

The Owner is a really nice guy. He also speaks really good English which was helpful for us. The homestay has a really cool vibe, kind of artsy and alternative. We had a great time staying there!

Very affordable, comfortable, and Ricardo was very kind and accommodating. Ricardo also seems to speak 1726272 languages, which should be a bonus for international travelers. The stay has a homey vibe, with a lot of charm and personality. The location also feels pretty safe and is close to the beach.

My only complaint is that the shower could have more pressure, but not a dealbreaker, I’d definitely return.

House was extremely well kept and had a great vibe. The host was extremely kind and knowlegable. I couldn't recommend a better spot in Ipanema for a low or moderate budget traveler.
