Meas Family Homestay

We loved everything about this place; the friendly family, Linda's fabulous cooking, the quiet paddy fields and help organising a day tour.

A amazing moment in the Cambodian campaign after the noise and pollution of Phnom Penh. Linda is a great hosts and an excellent cook.

Of course, it is in the middle of nowhere so you need to be aware of this.

The home cooked meals were amazing!!

Right in the middle of the paddy fields way out in the countryside, I arrived at this place without any expectations at all. What I found was a lovely garden with exceptionally well equipped and spacious bungalows with furnished balconies. Everything was spotlessly clean. It's run by a young lady who speaks perfect English, and I really mean perfect. The common areas are so spacious and nice. This is the only place in the area which is on Booking.com, and when I booked, I thought it was a bit pricey, but it's NOT. The rate includes all meals, and the food is superb and plenty. Beers and cold drinks were for sale too and they helped me book onward transport. Tuk Tuks around here are not nearly as greedy as they are in the touristy areas.

The WiFi situation needs improvement.

Linda and her family were lovely and excellent hosts. The homestay is a great location to get away from busier areas and relax. Nice to walk around the local countryside, and Libda was also able to provide us with good advice and help for other things to do. Great value fir money with home cooked meals.

Linda is a very nice host. She speaks english very well. We had a nice evening With her. She coocked a good dinner for us. We are her very thankful

Located in Takéo province at the outskirts of Angk Ta Saom and a few hundred meters away of the highway 22, this homestay is a gem, having warmly welcoming owners and consisting of several buildings in different styles surrounded by many green plants. Linda and her parents, the owners of the homestay, are very kind and caringly see to you feeling comfortable by taking the time to have a humorous chat with you, serving delicious meals they prepare in their outside kitchen area and offering help whenever needed.

Linda and family are excellent hosts. The food is amazing and plenty of it. I have stayed many times now on my way to Kampot and back to PP. I highly recommend Meas Family Homestay.
