"Worst hotel experience ever had in Sri Lanka; hence, shouldn't reserve any hotel through Booking.com"

Nothing!

The owner, who only cared about money making, stated that using the air conditioning in the room would cost an additional 1000 LKR. Due to the Mosquto net, fan wind was insufficient, thus we had to pay an additional 1000 LKR. It was a horrible experience having breakfast in an outdoor garden full of mosquitoes and flies. No hot water in the bathroom once more. He was expecting extra money for that also. We had cold water bath.

"Amazing breakfast and good ac room!"

Delicious breakfast. Quite big room. Garden around the house.

One of the owner was too pushing with activities, trips options, choosing restaurant for us etc. We know it probably was in good faith but for us it was too much and uncomfortable.

Expectation was 10, Reality was 11 Very humble host. We are vegetarians so his mother also served us very perfect vegetarian breakfast for us. Host even guided us for local and out of bentota places. His sister even offered us juice for free and also came with us to the best vegetarian restaurant nearby. Place is filled in nature and greenery. Definitely visiting again if I'm in Bentota. Let them serve you they won't disappoint for sure.
