Very helpful and friendly family run this place!

Clarance met us on arrival with tea and cookies. He was so helpful, showing us the shortcut to town and arranging transport to town as well as emergency transport to Kandy when the train was cancelled. The room was clean and comfy and the view was absolutely outstanding. WiFi was great and he had a super quiet fan.

Power disconnected a few times which meant no hot water but nothing he could have done about that.

The view from the balcony is breathtaking! The beauty is incredible! The room has everything you need. There is a slight smell of dampness, but this is not critical and I think it is inevitable in such a climate. Breakfast is delicious, wifi is excellent. Very friendly owner and staff. Great option in Ella for 1-2 nights. Recommended!

The host was great and welcoming with a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The price was fantastic and the views were amazing.

The location was a bit far from town walkable during the day through stairs down to the train tracks or by a tuk tuk for 500 or about $1.75. We didn't book a room with a great view and regret that - upgrade to get the view as our room had a partial view and was smaller than the others.

Superb location view-wise as you'll look straight into the valley of Ella. The room is spacious and the staff is friendly.

The room itself was extremely moist due to the rain. As there is no AC, the damp stays making the sheets feeling a bit wet.

The owner is really helpful with everything! The room is very good price value option and the view from the balcony is exceptional! Breakfast is very good with different stuff every day. It is only 5 minutes tuktuk or 15 walk via the railways away from the City centre.
