Amazing view, especially for sunrise. The room is spacious and super clean. MOST COMFORTABLE bed we stayed in during our travels in Sri Lanka. Great breakfast. Owner is very friendly and helpful, making sure we had a pleasant stay. The accomodation is on the way to and therefore closer to Ella Rock/Kitalella station, compared to if you are staying in the center of Ella.

Location is a bit out of town. You can walk via de railway road and after 15min walk take the stairs. Be aware tuk tuks in the city center overcharge tourists asking triple the price of what it should be (1500LKR) to take you uphill. The host will give you a fair price if you arrange a tuk tuk through him.

Overall disappointing. Messy check-in experience. Room not ready even though we arrived late afternoon. Room was not clean and no mosquito net was available. Check-out was messy too. In general, we felt like guests/guesthouse duties were considered a disturbance to their day, rather than that they cared.

Beautiful location and the people were superfriendly. Great breakfast. The neighbors had a very loud celebation for two days so the host organised a different location for us the second day which was very nice and helpful

The first night was a bit annoying with the noise from the neighbors, however, this was a very special occasion so will not happen again soon.

The views from the balcony were spectacular! Just like the photos show. The owner is lovely and gives you tons of recommendations. The breakfast is huge and yummy. If you stay multiple nights they will offer you different breakfast which was nice since we were there for 2 nights. Bed was comfy.

This isn’t the properties fault but there were electrical outages two of the nights we were there due to heavy rain and they don’t have a generator so we were left in the dark.

The view is some of the best in Ella, why we booked this place. Breakfast was okay.

The pictures were a bit misleading. It looks quite clean at first sight, but the closer your look, the more you see hairs/stains on the sheets and dirt on the decorative pillows.

The shower had very low water pressure.

Spend 3 nights here and so enjoyed,very nice view,very good service,helpful staff,highly recommended ❤️
