The place is charming, the view from the balcony is great and the breakfast was very tasty. The room is easy equipped, but nice and clean. The best we appreciated was the staff. He did a lot for us. He organized a guide tour to Ella rock (sunrise), gave us a lot of useful tips about travelling in Sri Lanka.

Just go for the view ! Love it ! Rooms are also very clean, just that the road going to this stay was abit steep But it’s just about 200m ride Just check with your driver But overall Love this place !

The view is breathtaking and the breakfast was soo delicious. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We can recommed to stay here and we hope that we will come back soon :)

The two hosts (the owner and his sister) were very helpful and lovely at all times. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The omlett and coconut roti for breakfast were delicious! I couldn't eat all the fruit so the owner offered me a container to take it with me for my train ride, which was a small but super nice gesture. The bed was very comfortable and there was a big table, shelf and a clothes hanger.

It didn't make my stay less enjoyable but the following things are good to know: It's not directly in the city of Ella, but in the hills, so you have to take a Tuktuk every time you want to get up or down (but they are not expensive, so it's okay). Apparently there is also an option to walk 10 minutes but including stairs and along the rails so I didn't try it (because it was either dark or I had luggage). And you should make sure to let them know upfront which time you arrive there because they don't live there.

We stayed for two nights and we highly recommend this place !! The view is breathtaking, and you get a lot of good tips from the owner. Thanks a lot for the wonderful time.

The room was very clean and had an amazing view. The breakfast was delicious and offered good variety. I really enjoyed the personal atmosphere and the host was very kind to help arrange hiking guide or transport. I can highly recommend it.

Amazing place, wish we could stay longer! The view from the balcony is out of this world. The host is very helpful, he helped us to arrange the transport. The breakfast is amazing, cooked just for you, everything fresh and so delicious! The accommodation is located in close proximity to the center, you can enjoy a great 10 min walk along the railway and reach it. Walking on the railway was another great experience. We highly recommend this place.
