The owner was lovely, the surroundings were beautiful, it was comfortable, and sitting on the balcony in the morning was fab. Oh, and a great breakfast too.

There was no hot water for a shower, but that is all.

It is an amazing place with stunning views- very peaceful and quiet, the balcony is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious with hot water. Hosts were really lovely and extremely accommodating, happy to help with anything we needed.Especially with the breakfast, which was served on the beautiful balcony whenever we asked. Really good value for money, We can't recommend this place enough and would have loved to stay longer.😀

If you are traveling by train, ask them to arrange a tuk tuk, if not, tuks are very tricky near the train station.

White rice with coconot sambol and dhal curry.thats only for brakfast..then bought 4 egg bullseye.the price was 1200/= rs. It was really unfair..

- Provided breakfast - Can order dinner with them - Provided scooter rental at 2500 rupees for a day ( it’s an average price in that area. I have checked) - Room is spacious and good quality - Host’s father is the sweetest - Provided a manual for what to do in Ella

- can hear the prayer from nearby monastery twice a day. One in very early morning at around 5 am and will last for 45mins. It’s a bit noisy that wake me up - the scooter provided is very old and does not work properly. I have experiences riding scooter in my home country so I can handle it without problems but may be problematic for people who are not familiar with riding scooters
