The room was very spacious and the hosts were so lovely!

It was quite cold in the room and I found the heater pretty weak. Plus I was told to turn off the heater overnight so it was pretty cold in the morning.

Absolutely nothing! Don't bother booking this accommodation!

We stayed one night of the three booked. We didn't receive a friendly welcome at all. The man's expression was rigid when we arrived (he was gardening), and he seemed rather annoyed that we were there. The bed was so hard, leaving us both with sore backs in the morning. The noise from the top floor above us was loud, the TV blaring and footsteps till 10.30pm. The bathroom was unsanitary with hairs on the floor. No body soap! Just craked cakes of used old soap in both the soap containers by the bathroom sink and in the shower. Looked like old chewing gum in the one inside the shower. The towels were clean but could do with a replacement. There is no kitchen as stated in the booking, just a laundry with dirty appliances that could do with a good clean or replacement. The small bench had dirt all over it. We were out of there the next morning. They then had the ordacity to blame us for leaving the place dirty as we had found it after making a complaint!!! We didn't even use the facilities!! It was gross. The carpet wasn't vacuumed, and then they tried to blame us for it. The lady got quite nasty in her communications through email when confronted with these issues. As a regular booking.com user, I made a complaint as hosts like this spoil it for the ones that genuinely enjoy having guests in their home and go out of their way to make guests feel valued. Very disappointed 😞

Untidy, freezing cold room ( inadequate heating) Very poor kitchen facilities in basic converted laundry. Minimum basics I.e. milk, tea, sugar. Old food lying about from previous clients.
