Robin was a great host, he made me feel very welcome. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and very well located for the town centre

Location perfect

Sharing a bathroom with the owner. We don't mind but then he must not have his belongings all over the place. Kitchen not tidy at all and dirty stuff all over. Not having a place to sit as the owner's personal documents were lying in the so-called guest area. It felt we are intruding someone's space. No milk or sugar available on arrival for a cup of coffee.

The owner is really nice and helpful 🙂

Robin was an excellent host and w very welcoming in making my stay comfortable and smooth would definitely book again if staying in Alkmaar again, also Alkmaar is a very pretty town!

We haven’t done a home stay in a long time, but this was a pleasant surprise. Robin’s home is cheerful, clean, and welcoming and Robin is a wonderful, friendly host. We were there with two other travellers, who we enjoyed meeting. Our room was on the third floors (lots of stairs!) and although it was small, the bed was comfortable and room was fine for our two night stay. Travellers should know there is one shared bath on the second floor and a toilet on the main floor. It was always available when we wanted to use it. Robin gave us great recommendations on where to cycle, visit and dine. Recommend!

Robin is an amazing host. The house is fantastic and I really enjoyed my time. I can highly recommend staying in Robins house.
