Ligita's Homestay

We liked that the property was walking distance to the town of Havelock North.

We had a small glitch with the television not working.

excellent location and ample space

sofa bed in sitting room not too comfortable to sit on and only one comfy chair. nine lights in the bedroom seemed a bit OTT

The hosts were very friendly and happy to give you any advice that you might need about the area. They gave you your own privacy too. I slept in the single bed which was very comfy.

The floor boards above the bedroom were noisy, but only while the owners were up and moving around. The unit looses the sun early in the afternoon during autumn/winter

Made very welcome by Bob and given fruit from the garden. Lots of very thoughtful touches eg touch by the bed, oil for cooking. Enjoyed looking at the well tended garden

Everything you’d want for a self contained stay and spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful host.

Ligita and Bob are the most gracious of hosts. We stayed with them for 2 nights and it was excellent. They made us feel completely at home. Nothing was too much . Should we be in Havelock in the future, we would definitely stay again.
