Séjour exceptionnel ! Les hôtes sont d’une gentillesse remarquable et ont véritablement le cœur sur la main, toujours prêts à rendre service. Leur accueil chaleureux a rendu cette nuit inoubliable et a largement contribué à la réussite de notre voyage au Sri Lanka.

Маленький семейный отэль на окраине города, среди деревьев. Приветливые и заботливые хозяева. Завтракала на террасе под пение птиц. Чистейший воздух. Мой номер был с отдельным входом и маленькой террасой. Комната маленькая, но вполне достаточная для одного человека при коротком пребывании. Хозяйка Мироша, готовила завтраки и ужины местной кухни, старалась учесть предпочтения гостя. Хозяин Джаята встретил на вокзале, отвёз на все интересующие локации. Без его тук-тука, конечно, самостоятельно добраться туда было бы для меня сложно. Приятно удивило отсутствие муравьёв в помещениях, что для Шри Ланки редкость. Спасибо Мироше и Джаяту за гостеприимство.

Слишком далеко от города для пешехода.

If you like to know the real Sri Lanka, consider staying at Milan Homestay. The owners are a very friendly and helpfull couple that do all they can to make your visit to Ella one to remember. The husband can bring you to many places in and around Ella with his tuk-tuk; his wife can provide cooking classes and makes a nice breakfast.

The location is very close the the Ella tea-factory (worth a visit) but a little far from Ella center. Therefor, walking home after a diner in the center is not really an option.

Very trustworthy. The family is very helpful. We had nice breakfast. Also they packed food for early morning travel on the day we left. We use their tuktuk to roam around places. The rent was probably the best in our whole sri lanka tour. Truely amazed by the hospitality and honesty.

Poor facilities, no toiletries, far away from down town,very poor breakfast, pillows are so hard.

I stayed at this lovely Sri Lankan homestay for 2 nights, and it truly felt like home. The family was incredibly warm and helpful—they cooked delicious meals for me, made sure I was always comfortable, and even drove me around Ella to explore the area. Their kindness and hospitality made my trip unforgettable. If you’re visiting Ella, I highly recommend staying here. You’ll be treated like family

WOW! The friendliest and most welcoming place we have ever stayed. Milan Home Stay is owned by the kindest family who go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. They were so helpful and gave really good advice on Ella and the surrounding areas. It is a little out of the way from Ella town centre but Jayantha and Nirosha made sure they were free to take you wherever you wish to go in their tuk tuk. The area however was very peaceful. They also pick you up from the train station for free. On our last night we took part in cooking class and I tried on her beautiful Saree's. The experience was really heart warming and made our stay in Ella and Sri Lanka extra special ❤️ You arrive as a guest and leave feeling like a friend. I really recommend staying here if you are visiting Ella. It is a home away from home ☺️ we will be back!

We liked everything.

Such a nice immediate welcome from this quiet family. D collected me gratus at Ella and transfered to their homestead. Everything was simple, tidy, clean and comfortable. Endless cups of tea, little home cooked treats, pancakes, coconut pastries and curries cooked on the home fire oven. N welcomed you to the kitchen any time you wanted - essentially a traditional cookery class. It’s a hill side jungle surrounds in this tranquil modest home. Took me to town when I wanted and some sights, arranged a massage. I stayed an extra night and N was even able to accommodate some friends who joined in another room. Lovely experience.

During my trip in Sri Lanka I saw various places, but regarding hospitality and welcome culture this host / family is really on top of the league
