Milan Home Stay

The host are so sweet. we had a lovely stay. we had dinner after the train and it was very tasty.

Best what You can expect. Very hospitable. Transport from and to railway station was organized. Tukutuk full day tours in city and around were also organized by hosts own tuktuk. Meals were exceptional. Neighbourhood is peaceful in the middle of nature away from centers (but that is not problem as there is tuktuk and if one is fit enough then also walking).

We had the best 2 days here. Jayantha and Nirosha were super hospitable hosts. They picked us up in town free of charge and provided us with many free cups of tea and snacks. We learnt how to cook local Sri Lanken meals and also were taken to go see a nearby temple (all out of the kindness of their hearts). We cannot recommend this place enough if you want a clean and peaceful stay with friendly hosts.

The hosts, a remarkable couple, consistently go above and beyond to assist us in every aspect of our stay: from arranging transportation to and from the accommodation, offering complimentary breakfast, to providing excellent dinner options at a reasonable price (compared to high prices in city center). Their insightful recommendations on exploring Ella, coupled with their unwavering availability for any inquiry or assistance, truly set them apart. Finding such genuinely helpful individuals is indeed rare.

The family it’s absolutely lovely we felt so welcome. The house and the environment around it’s magical. Good energy and good food we recommend 100%!

The hospitality of the family was overwhelming. The host offered to drive us everywhere around with his tuktuk and his wife invited us to do a sri lankan cooking lesson down in their kitchen. So sweet!

Worst place i ever stayed .food very dry,,my childs didn't t eat well.even us also same😡.for morning breakfast they provide string hoppers woth just dhall curry.black tea was like just hot watert.then i ask milk tea,the women said we dont have milk😠 .the place i book for two days but i ask them to canceled booking ,but they not.they don't know how to satisfied their guests,they were telling me "we are doesn't like to service local guests"..if they not give good service to local guests ,,,how they give good service to foreign guests ??do not book this
