Milan Home Stay

we enjoyed our stay in Ella because of Millan homestay. very nice family. make us feel like home. everything was just perfect for us. . the place is 10 minutes from the centre of Ella .and evey time we needed they take us with tuk tuk . we will come back again!

Our stay at Milan Home Stay was exceptional! We were picked up for free from Ella Town and we actually liked that the location was not in the Center. It was very quiet and peaceful. They were very helpful giving us tips what to do in Ella, finding a scooter to rent for the day and also helped my boyfriend to fix his bag that was falling apart. The family is really lovely and they helped us with everything we needed us including bringing us back to the bus station on the day of our departure. I also recommend eating dinner there. The room was clean and had everything we needed!

The family was super friendly, amazing view from our room and it was clean too no mould or any nasty business. Wr were picked up from the Ella train station for free too, the food local and with okay sizes too.

Everything. The house is in a lovely rural area. The hosts were so good to me.

We had an amazing time! Even though we stayed for only two days, the family made us feel completely at home. If you want to experience the magical nature of Ella and while staying with a wonderful and welcoming family - this is the one. And the food was absolutely delicious! Thank you ✨

This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. I thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and solitude far away from the hustle and bustle of Ella. And if need be there is always the owners Tuktuk to get you anywhere you want anytime. Great breakfast and gorgeous homemade dinner. Cosy clean rooms with hot shower. Great walks in the vicinity to tee plantations and viewpoints. And above all the kindest hosts imaginable. Thank you for your hospitality and all the little treats! 🙂

As everywhere in Sri Lanka dogs are part of the natural surroundings. So don't forget to take some earplugs if you have a light sleep. No major issue though... 🐕

Lovely family, very caring and helpful. I had fever and did not feel well and they looked after me very well and gave me medicine. They also drove me around in their tuktuk which was very helpful as the place is a bit away from the city. Food was nice. I loved the jungle and village vibes, very peaceful and charming. The rooms were clean.

The bed wasn't very comfortable, as the mattress was a bit worn out. My room was a bit dark as there was only one window. The two other rooms have nice big windows.

The family at Milan homestay looked after us very well, they provided a different exciting breakfast each morning and we had a cooking class, which was delicious. The hosts also had a tuk tuk and were able to get us to the centre of Ella in 10 mins!

Jayantha and Nirosha are extremely warm and welcoming hosts. Nirosha cooked amazing lunch and dinner for us during our stay. My parents and I enjoyed their company. Jayantha took us around the sightseeing spots in and around Ella during the duration of our stay. They are very caring and genuine people and we were certainly touched by their hospitality.
