Leah's Homestay in Hoquiam

Breakfast was amazing - homemade yogurt! The best part was I had to change the dates of my stay twice and Leah was accommodating to both! So grateful!

Homemade yogurt was great.

We stayed at Leah's Homestay for two nights and enjoyed both the house and the surrounding area. It is a small town, but you can find good food and places to stroll along the beach there. Leah is very friendly and helpful, and her lovely dog made our stay even more relaxing ☺️ We would recommend Leah's Homestay to other travelers

The homemade peach yogurt was DELICIOUS 😋 Our hostess was concerned about our planned route using Interstate 5 north to Seattle. She greeted us in the morning suggesting that we take Washington State roads to Bremerton and take the modestly priced ferry to Seattle instead - she was “spot on” as the Interstate was closed on both directions for over 5 hours! It was not only a traffic free drive but a lovely view of Seattle from the water as we neared the ferry terminal.

It was cute for an elderly couple or maybe a single parent with one child.

I didn't like the lady living there. I didn't know this was a kind of like a bed and breakfast, where the people actually stay there. The lady renting was sleeping just a few feet from the room, and you are to share the bathroom with all of their toiletries as well. She walked you in she walked you out, no smile. I don't know, she made me feel very uncomfortable, so we decided actually not to stay there. there were rules, and she was hinting about times to come in and out. I don't know it wasn't just my cup of tea for a very elderly couple it would be perfect. So if you like somebody looking over you watching over you asking you questions, then this is the place for you.

Leah and her canine companion were delightful hosts and provided a welcoming stay.

The large bed was extremely uncomfortable ( sagged) and the pillows did not provide for a restful sleep
