Mekong Farmstay CanTho - C.R Floating Market

“into the wild” was our motto for the short stay we had. Everything clean, welcoming, very comfortable bed and shower under the stars! The welcoming dinner was great!

All was perfect: big comfortable beds with mosquito nets in a bungalow in front of a flowering stream with your own bathroom opens under a palm trees, with all you need (shampoo, fridge…). The meat was incredibly, Hunann’s mum cooked a lot of excellent and tasty dishes. We booked the visit of floating market (4h including breakfast in the boat, noodle family farm visit, land market tasting some products…) with the interesting explanation done by Hunnan. After that alone, we took their free bikes to visit the city (I only recommend cacao family farm and zen monastery) and streams of Delta. He help us with the Futa’s bus booking and free pick up and drop us next to the Homestay. I recommend this place, you feel like at home!

Human was a fantastic host!

The host Human was extremely helpful and kind. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. We had a lovely time and the food was delicious. Thank you very much.

From the minute we stepped into the Farmstay we were greeted by Human who was an exceptional host throughout. Human served us immediately, with a very welcomed iced passion fruit drink. Rooms were comfortable, good sized , all amenities provided including an in room fridge, and all beds were protected with mosquito nets. The evening meals provided by Human and cooked by his mother was some of the best food we have tasted in Vietnam. He also provided a private boat tour of the floating market, bending over backwards in every aspect.

The Owner and his family are very helpful, and the best host. The best breakfast and supper we had in our entire stay in Vietnam. Nothing beats the home cooked food prepared with love, the best.

Mr.Human is a great person, he does his best to satisfy these guests. the accommodation is in a very calm and exotic environment, to move around, bike or scooter. The cuisine very hearty and local. Very good stay far from all hustle and bustle. Conducive to rest.

I loved my stay here. Human was so welcoming and attentive. His mother cooked amazing healthy food, which was really full of variety. Also a fresh drink every day. The cabins were so nice and bathrooms out in the open air below palm trees. Human brought us on a great tour of the Floating markets. He also has bikes which you can use. Human speaks great English so you can really communicate well with him and understand the Vietnamese culture.

Highlight of our trip in Vietnam!! The best accommodation of 3 places we stayed!!! Service: Human treats us like a part of family, even from before checking in! He gave us tips how to reach the accommodation, even waited for us outside. His mom is always welcoming and cooking mouthwatering food for us. On our last day, he even helped to book the ticket back to HCM and gave a motorbike ride for my mom (she cant walk much) to the shuttle bus stop, even waited with us until the shuttle came. I can keep writing about the hospitality, you wont find any better than this Farmstay in Vietnam! Room: booked 2 double bed rooms, instead he gave us 2 family rooms which are very spacious. Beds are super comfy, bathroom spacious and half-open, you got the feeling that you took shower in the jungle. The room has all the ammenities you need, and even without AC, you feel chill enough with the fan :) Location: it is a bit outside od the City (10km from the night market), but this is exactly what we're looking for. Food: OMG. So delicious!! I ate so much while staying there 😅. Not to mention the mother always provided us with different juices every meal time. Tour: We only take the mekong delta toue BUT I really recommend to take this! This is the highlight of our Vietnam trip. Human took the time to explain to us and show us around, unlike those tour that forces you to move quickly front one place to other place. (I could also write so much about this but you better experience it yourself :D) Overall : Highlyy highlyyy recommended! We will come back here next time ww're in Can Tho!! The traditionally constructed little bungalows are in a quiet area of Can Tho where you can still hear the sounds of nature. One sleeps so well in a comfortable bed under a mosquito net in a garden wth fruit trees. So much better than all those airconditioned concrete buildings. The host is amazing. Takes care of his guests like a sheperd of his herd. A great breakfast and dinner are included in the price. The host's mother is cooking and lets you taste local food in daily variations. The vegetables and fruits used - also for the fruit juices - are of very best quality. We also liked the tour to the floating market offered, and even more the walk over the land market - one of the most interesting and colourful food markets in the area. The host calls you taxis even when you are outside and want to come back. Speaks very good English. Would come back at any time.
