Mekong Farmstay CanTho - C.R Floating Market

Clean and basic lodgings, great for experiencing life in the Mekong. Thanks to the mosquito nets and insect repellent provided, we didn't get a single mosquito bite. Mr Human made us feel very welcome and looked after us so well. The dinner his mother cooked was generous and delicious and a good way to experience local home cooked produce. Recommend you take a tour with Mr Human to Cai Rang floating market, land market and rice noodle factory. He has excellent English and answered our constant questions, and his local knowledge is very handy. A memorable experience.

The propeety is quietly ticked away outside of Can Tho city but only a 15-min grab ride away. It is a lovely property with plants, ponds and lots of trees. Human did such a wonderful job in hosting, his mom is a good cook and we loved the vibe of the place. Our room was big and very clean. There are enough fans and mosquito nets around the beds so you don’t need to worry about mosquito bites. There is even mosquito repellent in the room and all amenities for tea and mineral water. Human suggested we go to a coffee place together when he found out I like coffee. We had a great chat and he shared many insights. We have absolutely loved our stay here for all the reasons above and I can’t recommend staying with Human enough. He is also very helpful when it comes to organizing tours (we felt sorry we didn’t go on the floating market tour with him!) or a driver. Think about bringing cash to pay Human when you stay. We had a lovely stay, thank you Human!

We are extremely thankful to Human and his mom for this amazing farmstay experience. The hospitality they treated us with was exceptional. Great variety of vietnameses homemade dishes for every dinner. The place is vast, full of trees, plantations and vietnamese fruits that you'll definitely get to try. We had the floating market tour with Human and we were extremely happy. The farm is in a lovely village away from the noise of the city. Highly recommended for a very authentic Mekong delta experience.

Very welcoming host and a very well maintained property. We very much enjoyed our time here. The cabin is clean and with all basic amenities. The host is very welcoming and will make sure you have a great time. We also enjoyed the visit to the floating market organized by the host.

No complaints - everything was perfect

If you’re looking for a place to experience the Mekong Delta, this is the perfect accommodation. The location is perfect, close enough to the Can Tho night market but in a very locale and authentic neighbourhood. The bungalows and the whole property is lovely and gives you the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle. But what makes this stay so special is it’s host Human. Thanks to him we felt so comfortable and welcome right away. We booked a tour with him in the morning to go see the floating market, a land market and some factories in the area. We really saw and ate a lot! Human takes you to the most delicious places and he is very knowledgeable about the area and it’s vegetation and will give you many insights into the local life. Also, many thanks to his mother who prepared really delicious meals for us. You won’t leave this accommodation hungry for sure!! Even though we only stayed for a short time, the Mekong Delta is one of our favourite places in Vietnam thanks to Human.

The atmosphere of the accommodation was very relaxing. The host was very helpful and he arranged for us the tour to the floating markets and the noodle fabric. Highly recommended for an authentic experience of Vietnam!

The host has a Masters in hospitality. He anticipated my ever need (even made me a banh mi before I left to ensure I was not hungry during my travels back to Saigon). He organzied the entire morning for me (bike ride to the river, then boat ride to the floating markets, visit to the rice noodle shop). The dinner his mother prepared was a feast. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for anyone that wants a night in a more remote Mekong delta cabin(no a/c..etc.).

Where to start….this was fantastic! If you’re looking for an authentic experience with an excellent local guide this is the place for you. Human is kind and generous with a great sense of humour! The tour he does is great and he explains and teaches you so much about Vietnamese culture. We were able to then borrow the bikes and see some sights he suggested. Although I wouldn’t rush to the tourist village it was very strange! His mum does all the cooking and make sure you come hungry because there’s enough to feed a small army! The mackerel was insane one of the best things I’ve eaten! Human will give you a different drink everytime he sees you he could do a mocktail book and it would be a bestseller! The accommodation is lovely it’s not a hotel but it is comfortable and a good mossy net! It’s not as smoggy as Ho chi min so actually a fan is perfectly fine intact we got a little cold one evening.

I had a wonderful stay. Human was a very welcoming host. Delicious Vietnamese food prepared by his mother. Well organised tour of the floating market, a land market, noodle factory,… in a small group. You can borrow bicycles to explore the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend!

One of the best hotel we stayed in Vietnam. Great beds, rooms into the wild and shower under the stars. Exceptional organization for floating market, floating typical breakfast, noodles factory, and local city market. Human, a very kind host!
