Mekong Farmstay CanTho - C.R Floating Market

The owner, Human, is very friendly, speaks very good english and invited us to a walk around the village and a bycicle ride to the a Café nearby, which was very fun. We really enjoyed our stay and the tour we booked (to the floating market and a rice noodle factory). The food was also very good. The huts are basic with quite big beds and mosqito nets provided, hot water works fine. The acomodation certainly isn't luxirious, but it felt more authentic to us that way:)

The property of the farmstay is very clean, unfortunately this is not the case for the rest of the village and the rivers in the mekong delta, which is sad to see. The walk around the village was still fun though:)

Our host Human and his hospitality made our trip to the Mekong very memorable. The cottages were exceptionally clean, they were rustic which was a great experience in the Mekong. Human took care of everything for us so we felt we were in safe hands. He recommended what to do/where to go, made his bikes available for us, etc. The food prepared by Human’s mum was very delicious and plentiful. We had an excellent experience!

Amazing find. Perfect location to visit the floating markets. Loved the room and we were made to feel so welcome by Human and his family. The food which they provided for us was delicious and the best we have enjoyed at a homestay. The market visit was a highlight of our trip so far- Human arranged it all for is and the visit to the noodle factory was also enjoyable. We were also given handmade gifts from the boat handler which was a lovely touch. Wish we could have had longer here - we only had 1 night but would definitely return and absolutely recommend! Thanks Human and family!

The host Human makes it all come true, and even more! His mother is such a lovely woman and a great cook. Great location to stay, nice excursions, and perfect service from the very friendly host, a.o. adapting menu because of glutenfree diet.

Great host, excellent food, very nice tour

We loved our stay with Human, he is an exceptional host and our highlight was the tour he led through the floating market. The stay is very comfortable and the food delicious. Would definitely recommend!

The location is not as countryside as we thought it would be, but the property itself is really nice! And the fact you can borrow bicycles and explore the surroundings did make up for it!

We really enjoyed our stay with Human and his family and will remember them all fondly. The Futa bus shuttle dropped us off 500m from the homestay and as we were walking Human's brother came by on his motorbike, called Human and they took us to the homestay. We really appreciated being picked up, thanks, that was unexpected! The food was really good and juices were fresh - nobody goes away hungry! I enjoyed learning about Vietnamese culture during the meals and being able to ask questions. Human's floating market tour was in a private boat and organised and carried out by him. Everything was perfect and there is no need to organise a tour yourself. The accommodation is rustic, but that is all part of the charm. Human and his family went above and beyond necessary - they really wanted us to have a nice stay. What a human Human is!

Initially this choice was a bit out of my comfort zone, however the reviews made me curious and I can confirm that all is true. Location in residential area with occasional noise, simple room with outdoor bathroom, though fully equipped. Human was the most wonderful host and his mom a great chef. We were well fed during the entire day, had fun with his tour, cycled on our own through the neighborhood on his bicycles and went for an evening stroll through the city centre. It made for such a fantastic and authentic experience! In fact, halfway through our vacation now and we still miss him, thank you my friend.
