Mekong Farmstay CanTho - C.R Floating Market

The Farmstay is clean in a good location with all necessities arranged to make it comfortable. The owner Human was the highlight of our stay. The meals were absolutely delicious and synthetic. The tours were different from everything else we have ever seen and Human was the expert on everything. The rooms are great comfortable and we had toothpaste , mosquito spray all provided free of charge. Thank you Human for making our stay such a memorable experience. We felt sad leaving such an amazing Human 😀

Lovely place just outside Can-Tho, by the Mekong river. The bungalow is simple yet clean and nice. Human the host is great! Very friendly and helpful he took us on a tour to the floating market and to a noodles factory

Bear in mind you’re sleeping by the Mekong.. don’t be surprised if a chipmunk or other guests will come to your window to say hi

Human is the reason to stay here,so welcoming and his english is very good. This home stay is authentic with wonderful food cooked by his mother. The best food I have in Vietnam. He took us on the Mekong Delta to see the floating market before too many tourists showes up. He shared all about the local fruits/food/flowers and we visited a noodle factory and local market and we borrowes a couple of bikes to ride around his lovely little village. A really lovely stay!

Nothing not to like

Human was brilliant he is the total package. We stayed only one night and Human provided everything we wanted from scrumptious evening meal and early morning tour, helped us with transport to and from home stay Thank you so much for making everything stress free Human is the best tour guide we have had in 3 and a half weeks!. We had a fantastic time including a cycle, boat trip, visit to noodle making home business , to the morning market and at each stage Human answered our numerous questions and shared his knowledge about life and culture of the people who live and work in and around the Mekong Delta

Not a thing

The host Human was no less than fantastic. We felt extremely welcome from the moment we stepped into Farmstay. Human was very helpful all the way through, and we can highly recommend his trip to floating market and local market. Very interesting indeed. During the 2 days we spent at Farmstay we managed to feel like family - that tells very much about the kindness and hospitality Human showed us. Our best recommendations.

Very natural setting, feels like you are living right on the delta in a very local way. The rooms are basic but honestly, we had the best sleep of our entire vacation here. Nice firm beds and complete silence surrounded by nature. I woke up refreshed and we had a wonderful early morning on a floating market visit arranged and guided by the owner. This was one of our best experiences! We also did the sunset cruise the night before. Both experiences I highly recommend. The owner Human was an incredible host. Very engaged with his guests to ensure they have the best time. His mother made dinner for us and it was excellent.

When i booked this property I wondered if it was going to be worth it because it is a bit more expensive than the average homestay. But, there is real value here in the quality of a real vietnamese experience that you get. Human works very hard to make sure his guests are happy and it is more than worth the price you pay. We only stayed one night but wished we had more time, and that one night turned out to be one of our favourite experiences. If you like 4 or 5 star hotels this may not be your cup of tea. If you are fine with rustic, and in opinion authentic, experiences, don’t miss out on this.

We greatly enjoyed our 2-day stay in this quiet and peaceful place. Everything is kept clean and tidy. Excellent Internet connection. Mr. Human arranged and personally led the tour to the wholesale floating market, the noodle factory, and the retail market. It was such a great experience that I went again the following day. Bicycles are available for free to explore the village and surroundings.

Well..... Where to begin. We travelled a long way from Scotland and wanted to have a full Mekong Delta experience and my oh my we got one! Forget any other trips in this area just go to this place!! The host - Human is his name - is that rare breed in life.... A wonderful person with HUGE knowledge of the Delta and the workings of life here. We stayed here for only one night but many months before I asked him if he could help me with some things.... Pick up from HCM City..... Boat tour to the markets in the morning.... Evening sunset tour..... Drop us at Rach Gia to catch a ferry the next day.... OMG. He sorted out the whole trip for us and at very reasonable prices. His communication is 10/10. I never waited more than a few hours for a reply. And we only stayed one night!! I can't thank him and his family enough for what was a truly remarkable and most enjoyable way to see the Delta. Do yourself a favour.... Go!!

There is nothing not to like here.... Proper cultural experience in the company of a fantastic host. Nobody knows this area better.

Welcome to paradise! Five beautiful bungalows with outdoor showers are arranged around a pond within a tropical garden. The place is absolutely tranquil and peaceful. Human is a very considerate host and fulfilled all our wishes before we even uttered them. Every day je provided us with fresh fruits and homemade juices. The food his mother cookes was absolutely delicious and we Even got lunch. The Mekong farmstay is outside the City next to a small creek. You can rent bikes for free and explore the surrounding neighbourhood and nature. Human has lots of suggestions including a visit to a cocoa farm and a Buddhist temple. We would also recommend doing the boat tour to the swimming market with him! In addition he can arrange massages for you, which was also a highly relaxing experience. We enjoyed our stay so much that we prolonged it for one night and it will probably remain one of our highlights here in Vietnam.
