Mai Châu Home

After a long wet day on the motor, we were greeted with open arms and delicious tea by Hôi. The room was great and the family diner with the hot pot was wonderfull and reminded us of christmas. Thanks again for the warm welcome and wish you and your family the best!

Really nice homestay with comfortable rooms ! Owner and his family are really nice with a lot of tips around Mai Chau ;) We couldn’t try the food but it look delicious !

The host Hoi is amazing!! Took us on a daily walk in the mountains, to a lockable restaurant helped us with everything. The room was simple but very clean and the view is amazing!!!!

The host is super friendly, outgoing and speaks very good english. He welcomes you and makes your stay just perfect. He provided us with good tips, excellent food and delicious coffee. Also explained a lot about the countries history and drank happy water with us.

Mattress was a little bit hard, but still very good.

The owner is so nice! He too care for everything we wanted.

We had such an incredible time at Mai Chau Home! It was great to stay amongst the family, and we really enjoyed our room which had a beautiful room looking out over the rice paddies (there are other rooms downstairs too, if steep steps are challenging) and was very comfortable with the air conditioning as an escape from the heat. Hoi looked after us very well and is a very warm and generous host. We really appreciated his help booking our transfers from Hanoi too. We really appreciated the location on the edge of town, as it meant everything was close by, while also feeling secluded. We loved walking through the beautiful fields and riding bikes around the valley. (Big thank you to Hoi for helping us to hire some great bikes with gears and for the suggestions of where to explore!) If we had another day, we would have chosen one of the guided hike or bike trips on offer, but we'll save that for next time! We had great fun chatting to Hoi and we really loved the insight into village life he gave us. Another highlight were our dinners – they catered for my vegetarian diet so easily and thoughtfully. It was delicious! Oh and finally a mention for Mai Chau Home Design – which is their shop of beautiful hand made clothes a few doors down. Thank you Hoi and your family for such a fun and memorable stay!

We booked the cooking class and enjoyed it...learned something new and had a wonderful meal afterwards. A quiet and peacefull place.
