Location

The room is very minimalistic. Not super clean. During our stay we were the only guests in the homestay (including dorms). Maybe if there were other people in the homestay it would have felt better. At evening time there was nobody around (staff or guests). I guess timing is everything, as other people really enjoyed their stay.

Hoi and his family are incredible hostesses. They took care of everything for us (tours, transportation, rentals, food, suggestions, questions!). Always willing to help, give suggestions and extremely good mooded and friendly. If you visit Mai Châu, this is definitely the place to stay. The spot of the homestay is lovely, located at the outskirts of the village, quiet and with very nice view of the mountains. The rooms are minimal and cosy.

We really loved everything about the stay. The host and his family are super eager to help with everything we asked, he gave us so many tips of what to do in the area and I want to highlight especially the awesome breakfast and dinner! We even extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much- we can fully recommend to stay here.

The owner and his family are really friendly. This homestay is comfortable for foreigner, the owner was a tourist guide before so he can speak english fluently and he has many tips, experiences for you guys to enjoy the trip here

Nice and cozy rooms next to a small pond and rice fields. Not very close to the centre of the city, but that's an advantage. The owner is very helpful and speaks well english. Lovely breakfest included (the best we had in Vietnam for now).
