Silent oasis

The location was really cool in the middle of the jungle and the beds were very comfortable! The owner was lovely and helpful and we had delicious breakfast.

Jungle noises at night were really cool!

It was a bit far from the city but allowed for a nice walk along the railway tracks.

Very lovely hospitality. Best breakfast. The view from the rooms is spectacular. The host helps a lot with whatever we needed… highly recommended!

There are leaches, but it is all around Ella :)

This place really is an oasis away from all the chaos. We arrived to Ella with the train and very hectic traffic, so to arrive here was very soothing. It may be far for walking, but worth the tuktuk ride. Amila and his family went out of their way to make us feel at home. We each got sick for a day while here, and they made sure we had everything we needed, and even offered to take us to a doctor. We also spent christmas night with a delicious meal cooked for us. Also, the breakfast is AMAZING. Just get there and Amila will help you arrange the rest of your trip ❤️

It is really a silent oasis. About 12 minutes in tuktuk from town center. We enjoyed the tranquility, walks to kitalella waterfall, and mainly the kindest hospitality of Amila and his so kind and generous family. Our child played with Amila's child, and with the cat, and we had interesting chats with Amila and his daughter. Breakfast was rich and changed every day. Great fruits and local pancakes. Amila even bought us train tickets before he knew us. Communication was great and with a lot of generousity.

If something was missing we just asked Amila and he immediately helped.

The most delicious breakfasts during the entire stay in several locations on the island. Unforgettable views outside the window with jumping monkeys and dozens of other species of animals. Very helpful host !

A bit far from the city and most attractions in the region - many car trips necessary.

Bed are great

Toilets have ants and location is not that great. It was not easy to find in dark.

Really cute property with a beautiful garden view. The room is basic but spacious and comfortable. Really good food too, the staff is friendly and can help you if you need transport or a tour.

We had an ant problem but they don't bite. Bring mosquito repellent.
