The hosts were super friendly, thebreakfast was good, it was a 5 minutes walk from the train station

The elderly couple who manages this guest house is very good and professional , cooked breakfast for us early in the morning as we were supposed the leave by morning train , and even helped with our luggages till station. . location is very convenient . Value for money .

Incredibly sweet hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Perfect location. Walking distance to station and town. Just far enough away from the noise of Ella town. Spacious with two double beds. Both with mosquito nets. Hot water. Cooking class available. Great breakfast (different everyday). Couldn’t recommend enough.

Run by a lovely couple who are very helpful. They packed us a breakfast to take on the train and helped us carry our luggage to the station. The station is just a few minutes away and Main Street of Ella is also only a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was lovely.

Not the fault of All Joys, but given its location, it is very loud at night - thumping base until 3am. The room felt clean but the bathroom needed a deep clean.

Situated in a more quiet area of Ella, but just 5min by foot to the center. Train station visible from the veranda. Lovely and charming hosts who care about everything and serve a delicious breakfast. Rooms good as described.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. It’s location is really convenient, short walk from the city centre but far enough from the noise. The common ares are really comfy and cozy

The staff was very kind and always smiling. The view was pretty good, and the room was quiet even though it is located just behind the railway station. Good breakfast : sandwich, fruits and tea or coffee.

When I found a cockroach, the staff kindly changed my room. Thanks. It was dirty in the bathroom and kitchen. In the bathroom, it smelled always bad, and lots of small bugs were on the floor in the morning or at the end of a day. The bathroom window was always open, and from the car parked above, people could see directly into the shower. Fortunately, the car was always parked there. In the kitchen, there were ants around the sink, and no trash bin. The fridge was completely disorganized and dirty. I wonder if they change the bed linen because there wasn't any, and I think the blankets are used by all travelers without being cleaned, as there was neither linen on the bed nor under the blanket. I stayed in several accommodations in good quality with the same price but the one in Ella was incomparably bad. I wanted to leave there as soon as possible.

Location was terrific, station just a few mins away. The view from the porch is worth spending the entire evening over. However, the best part of the stay was the host family. We ended up sharing a lot about each other's cultures over drinks, and the conversation itself made Ella worth it. I'm thankful for the omelette that was offered just out of host courtesy since I was too lazy to go out. Highly recommend!!

I cannot begging to explain how amazing our stay was. Everything was perfect, location, cleanliness, amazing breakfast, but nothing compared to the hosts kindness. The owners of this hotel are so nice and so helpful. They recommend us great restaurants, hikes and other things to do in Ella. And let’s not forget the avocados they gifted us for our departure!! Over all, the best hotel in Sri Lanka.
