Riverside

It was very comfortable,very quiet and neat ,very undisturbed. Walking to most attractions was easy and the bus to the railway station was convenient .The utensils were good .during the three nights in riverside was my best sleeps in the uk far away from my home .Dan is a nice guy with lots of knowledge and is good at talking although he spoke a little quicker than I hope.If we go to York again,we hope to stay here .

Stayed for two nights. Very clean and comfortable. Reaching historic part of town is easy, either on foot or by local bus. Very quiet environment, and a nice view of the river. Very kind and welcoming host.

Too far out of the centre. Also tea /coffee in the room would of been nice and a TV.

I wasn’t aware there would be other people staying in the next door room, as I had the impression from the information at the property that I would have the run of the place to myself. As a solo female traveller, to wake up in the early morning hours and hear people moving about unexpectedly next door and walking down to where I had left personal items thinking I was there alone was deeply unnerving as I wasn’t expecting it.

Not applicable as it was self catering. The location was very well suited for our needs.

The furniture was not comfortable enough to sit on for older people for a length of time.

Cosy and warm and not a long way for all the amenities in York
