Very good value for money, clean, tidy and basically you have the use of hosts home. Was able to feel welcome, home from home. Very amenable host, although I only spoke with him on the phone not in person. Informative pack left in room, plenty of info on hand and games, books and dvd's to use if the need arises. Lot of effort put in to make a stay enjoyable. Shower was hot & powerful, host was quick to answer the phone and parking close to house. Although we were there just one night, able to use facilities as we needed.

Nothing major to note, extractor didn't work in the ensuite and needed a brush down, however there's a window to aid passive ventilation, so no issue as such.

Very comfortable stay. Dan was a exceptional host. Very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Good walk to center, if you are older. Shower room, but toilet separate.

Loved the room and property- it was decorated really tastefully!

house was clean and tidy, everything we needed for a weekend away. parking was easily accessible and you can walk into york town centre easily

Location was brilliant, tucked away but close enough to local shops. Full use of the house, friendly welcome, lovely and warm in the cold weather!

The lock on the door was a bit difficult to use at times!

Host very helpful and pleasant. Easily accessable, short walk to city centre.

No TV in bedroom which wasn't ideal. Pillows very flat.
