Charming studio - 3 min walk to PETWORTH Metro station; 10 min to Convention Center

The host and her mother were really nice, he is really kind and she is very sweet and despite she doesn't speak English very well she tries her best to help you. the room had everything that we needed and the place is close to a gas station, restaurants and metro station, everything was perfect we were there basically to sleep at night and the place is very quiet so we did sleep very well. A very good place to stay if you want to know Washington. I would go back.

this place was falsely advertised & the owners mother that was staying there was very im welcoming and made me very uncomfortable. especially when she was following me and looking me out the house.

Well I was only there about 20 mins or so. Long enough to book another accomodation somewhere else.

Well. The block seems unsafe and rundown. I was followed by two gentleman from the time I got out of Uber until I got up the steps to the units location. Whe the two gentleman walked to the porch of the house right next door and just stood there and stared at me. The lock box for the key didn't work. I fiddled with that for about 20 mins before a woman came to answer the door who didn't speak a y English. The space is clean. I guess. It's located upstairs in the house a family lives in. Which smelled like a restaurant and there was loud screaming and banging. Not sure what that was. In all. This was advertised as a studio apt thisbis in fact a bedroom in a family's house with old furniture old linena, loud noises on a somewhat sketchy block in a transitional neiighborhood of northwest Washington. It may work for some. But the picture and the description do not represent what the unit really is. Plus I was billed for this. And still waiting to hear back about a refund...I'm sure you hat will not happen.

Location was close to the subway and across from a gas station.

Shower could have been warmer and they need some lights on the stairs I fell on my back because it was so dark going down the steps.

It’s simply shouldn’t be on booking.com. I was greeted by rats in the yard, the codes were not sent before check in (I had to make calls and send messages), it is a detached room in a loud Asian household (not an en-suite), the room smelt bad, it was a completely unsafe area for a single white traveller, it is massively overpriced even if you are brave enough to stay. Only thing I can say is the elderly Asian mum was nice enough but I made a runner after going to the shop across the road and realising how rough the area is. Not good!

Great location

Place not well kept, very dirty, cups and cutlery not cleaned. There was no hot water in the shower. The shower curtain was old and stained Hygiene standards are very poor, to say the least.
