Ciel Homestay

Beautiful house and gardens in a fantastic location within the citadel walls. The owner was so friendly and helpful, and the area is full of character, and, so far, unspoiled by mass tourism. I would 100% recommend, and will definitely stay at Ciel again.

Beautiful garden and house. Very warm and friendly owner and really good location i non-touristy area but still with walking distance to the Citadel.

You can hear everything going on outside the house but luckily it is a pretty quiet area.

beautiful green property with an amazing family as a host, especially Mrs Dao, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, loved seeing her smiling face every morning. really well located inside the city and photographs don't do this place justice

I loved staying in a real Vietnamese house. The property is beautiful and Huong and her husband very helpful. The garden incredible. It is very near the Imperial Palace. Thanks Huong

- We showed up at 10am and the lady let us in which is a huge help. - We checked out late at 1pm and she let us know beforehand that that wasn't a problem for her at all. Sweet! - I got up early at 5am for a morning jog as usual without a prior notice to them. So I was afraid I couldn't get out but luckily the helper was available at around 5.10am - Drinking water is always filled in the common area. I didn't have to buy or ask them to refill. - The room is well soundproof. And the aircon is pretty new and functional. - Toilet/bathroom is clean with hot & cold water tap. - The motorbike we hired is her own family's one. It's decent, but the brake should be maintained/serviced for better safety. We got the bike with the tank half filled (some vendors give you one with an almost empty tank).

I booked a Deluxe Room with Balcony, but the room I got doesn't have balcony. There are two windows though.
