Walking distance to the Citadel, beautiful colonial style building, garden and amazing host. Fully functioning kitchen if you need it, free washing machine, fresh bread in the morning and anything you ask for. Only 4 rooms in the homestay and second floor double room is huge. Aircon was super quiet and new.

Outside street can get noisy and there are a few dogs around the compound.

Please choose this homestay if coming to Hue - you will remember the host for a very long time! She was the most kindhearted woman ever!! The room was very nice (with lots of storage). There was a kitchen available (and a big refrigerator) and washing facilities. Me and my boyfriend are very scared of spiders and when we had a gigantic spider in our bathroom we called the host and she removed it with no problem (our true hero!). On our last day she and another sweet woman prepared breakfast for us. We can’t say enough kind words about this place. We will return here if we ever go back to Hue.

The only problem we had here were the dogs. As it is a bigger property they of course need guard dogs but they bark a lot when other guests arrive home late in the evening. This was annoying since it disturbed our sleep but of course a bit out of their control. But the host’s kind soul truly made this a very tiny problem

Beautiful house with big rooms and common space

The road directly infront of the house was under construction so there was a lot of noise and we had to walk a bit to catch taxis.

Such a beautiful house right next to the imperial city of Hue ! Walking distance from everything with great restaurants around. Our host was gracious and generous and we definitely recommend :)

Be warned all travelers with pets: This place advertises that they are pet friendly. They are not! Their two aggressive and untrained housedogs charged and barked wildly at my dog upon arrival. It was a night time arrival, but there is no excuse for that behavior any time of day. My service dog which is a pit/boxer mix can handle herself, so no injuries, but instead of an apology, what I got was a reprimand from owner that I didn't let them know I had a dog. Hello? Your website says "Pets Are Welcome". What else to you need to know? The audacity and ignorance of owner's response was something to behold! Also be warned: There is an 11pm curfew here which of course, they don't advertise. Gate locks, and you can't get back in. When I asked about this ridiculous rule, owner's response was "All of Hue closes down early, so I lock the gate at this time. If you have a problem with this rule, then you can find something else" Needless to say , I was not about to stay at this fake homestay another minute. By far, this was the worst experience I have had at any accommodations in all my years of travel. I was fortunate enough to find another place, nearby at 10pm- a real homestay- Kota's House that treated me and my service dog with care and respect. This place is NOT exceptional, as I had read. Do not waste your money here. There are other, more affordable places that you and your pet can stay. Those places will treat you like a paying guest, not a child that has to in bed by 11pm. However, if you're into paying money to get insulted and spoken down to, be their guest.

Beautiful gardens and lovely clean rooms. We were looked after by a lovely lady who made sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were great with a shared kitchen and dining area. Water bottles were provided daily. The hosts went above and beyond on the day we checked out letting us leave our bags and making sure we were comfortable, even offering a place for us to shower, and use the bathroom, if we needed it. Our lovely host came out to see us off when we left, such a warm and welcoming lady ❤️.Highly recommend this homestay.
