Mountain Breath Retreat - Am Nui Tho

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had to give it a six star rating as it was the best stop I have had in many weeks. The family are all lovely and make you feel right at home, and the food is some of the best meals I have eaten in Vietnam 😋😋 and I had vegetarian food, especially prepared each evening and more than I could eat.the property is as New and the room and bathroom are both in fantastic condition 😀 a very comfortable bed ,and free tea and coffee, and filtered well water. I would not hesitate in saying make a detour to stay you won't be disappointed. And I spent most evenings having an enlightening conversation with the host.

Very helpful and friendly owner who was eager to talk about the area and culture of Vietnam. There was never any problem to help us out with questions we had. The room was more than big enough and both bathroom and bedroom are very clean.

Amazing hosts! Very kind and helpful people! The room was new and very clean and the hospitality of the owners was exceptional! I would highly recommend for someone who wants to get away from the city noise and traffic and stay in a chill place in the north side!

Please do yourself a favor and stay at this beautiful place :) you will enjoy a quiet clean room and the company of your lovely hosts that are happy to help you with everything you might need :) there is a beautiful walk nearby and for 100.000 dong you will get a homecooked 4 course dinner that we can highly recommend :)

This is the most comfortable and welcome we have felt on our travels across SE Asia! Phuong and Ai’s hospitality is unmatched and they really do go above and beyond to help in anyway they can - we have had a lovely relaxing stay with them. Our room was clean, modern and spacious, and it made it very difficult to get out of bed in the morning! Ai’s cooking is delicious and the best we’ve experienced in Vietnam. The viewpoints nearby are beautiful and we also enjoyed a boat trip with our fellow home-stayers organised by Phuong. We couldn’t recommend staying here enough.

Lovely place. Owner was extremely lovely and friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. Lovely dinner with his family on the first evening. Location is a little out the way but you can take a scooter or taxi. Must do the hike up the nearby hill to the viewpoint

Mountain Breath Retreat is an amazing place to stay. The hosts are so kind and helpful and helped us with every emergency we had. They also recommended sights and restaurants in the area. I would happily stay here again!

Very clean, modern and comfortable homestay. Phoung and his wife are very welcoming. He’s a great person for all kinds of information on Vietnamese culture and history. We wish them the best of luck in the future.
