Restful River Bungalow

Hung the manager was very helpful and speaks enough English to convey info.and tell us about the area. the view from the rooms balcony is lovely.pool is well maintained but cold in Feb.

not the fault of the hotel but there is constant boat motor noise during the day and insanely loud "disco"? thumping "music"? coming from across the river till about 9 or 10 pm. then again this could happen any where in Vietnam!

Our stay was amazing in every way. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel less like guests and more like family visiting a relative. The location is perfect, with the river flowing right in front, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The food was another highlight—delicious and comforting, just like home-cooked meals. I highly recommend this place!

Can't really complain about anything, but as a improvement idea, the bathroom curtain could be thicker.

Quiet location, nice property. The hosts helped me do laundry and wash my boots. They even have a boot drier! Fantastic stay.

The homestay was located in a beautiful spot by the river with lovely views. The owner was very hospitable & his wife & brother took me by car to the Duck stop & the Paradise caves as I wasn't interested in doing an organised group tour. The room I stayed in was also nice & spacious.

The noise across the river early in the morning from the church. Obviously nothing the owners could do about this but it made my stay not the most restful.

Due to a storm and lots of rain we were the only guests. We stayed for one night, but the owner tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He organised a private driver at very faire value so that we at least could see paradise cave. All other caves were sadly closed due to the weather. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food was always really good. Always cooked freshly. The best pancakes with banana I ever had :)

The restful water front location. The very large rooms with two double beds. The owners were lovely food was nice.

The rooms needed a clean some cobwebs and spiders in bathrooms. Some dirty marks on sheets overall very comfortable

We loved the tranquillity of Restful River Villas. It is super peaceful to relax by the pool and river and only hear birds and the sounds of the locals going about their daily lives. The staff were super friendly and wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The owner is also a Grab driver in his downtime, which was also a bonus.

The only downside (which wasn't a big deal) is that it is a little further away from the restaurants and the main area of town, but Grab is now operational in Phong Nha, which made it quite accessible for quick trips into town. Also bikes are available to use, and it is a nice easy ride into town also.
