When we arrived, we had to look around to find someone to check us in, then a woman appeared and abruptly asked our name, then gave us a dirty cup half-filled with lukewarm water as a "welcome drink"! Then she threw some brochures on the table and asked us which tour we wanted to book... when we said we needed to rest first and see our room, she gave us a key, with no other word. The sheet on the bed looked like some fabrics sewn together, the bat mat in the bathroom is actually an dirty rubber carpet. The chairs on the balcony are very hard and extremely rusty. The coffee included in the breakfast is instant coffee, otherwise there is an extra charge. We stayed there only because it was already paid for, and we never saw a smile from any of the staff. There are plenty of better options around (at a lesser price!) and we certainly don't recommend this one.

The host is realy friendly and always ready to help (planning tours, bus rides, pickup). Also we realy liked the breakfast.

Beds were quite hard, not very much around. WiFi was very poor in the room and at night it was very loud.

I really liked that place and would coma back here again, the bungalows right in front of the river with stunning view to the mountains, everything was very clean and tidy which made the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the owner was very great with organising tours and helping out desires. He helped us getting to the Train station and back. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Big spacious room overlooking the river. Great views! Very good service, they picked me up in Dong Hoi and dropped me back off and they arranged a good motorbike for me. Friendly all over!

The location was nice and quiet, though farther away from the village (we realized after we booked). There were free bikes so it was OK going around the distance. The room was quiet, the owner was very kind and welcoming, he helped us arrange service car for pick up and drop off, the latter driving us himself at 4am to catch a night bus. He also provided lots of information on tours we could book through the homestay in nearby caves.

The room was a bit moist, since it was end of December, however the temperature was ok. The warm water ran out a bit fast, but the waiting time to get hot again was short.

Location: Unbeatable with the riverfront. Room: Just like the pictures - super roomy and quite clean. The bed isn’t the comfiest but we weren’t expecting luxury either. Bathroom is spacious though there’s no shower curtain around the tub so be prepared to make your toilet wet. Our room is on the top floor with a huge balcony and that was amazing. Hosts: This is a family business with everyone in the family contributes. I cannot praise them enough - just hard working and nice and honest people all around. Everything was super cheap and they just wanted to make sure your needs are met. Extras: They helped me do laundry twice after our muddy and wet hikes and the price was so good to pass up. We also ended up renting their mopeds all 3 nights and the hosts only charged us once since we rode only to the restaurants and back. Overall, would 100% stay there again.
