Whispering Oak Mansion

Continental breakfast was fine. Met expectations as advertised. Could use a few more tables in breakfast area. There was only one and the breakfast was on it. My husband and I were the only ones in the area at the time so we were able to eat at the table but if other people had been there, we would have had to balance our plates and cups on our lap.

Such a beautiful property. Elegant and welcoming.

Location was very convenient for the Triathlon at Lum's Pond. It was in a quiet neighborhood and peaceful throughout the night. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The room had everything I needed including a desk and closet space. I had one of the rooms that shared a bathroom, but this was not a problem at all. Nobody monopolized the bathroom and it was always clean. Parking was sufficient for all the guests, even with all rooms occupied. The grounds looked very nice, though I did not have time to enjoy them.

There was not anything we did not like.

Lovely location. Spacious property.

I thought I booked a room with bathroom. It turned out the room was two sets of stairs and at least 50 steps from the nearest (shared!) bathroom. Not acceptable for spouse with bladder issues - or - just about anybody.

Beautiful, serene and stately property amidst a wooded area. The host Karin went above and beyond in her hospitality with pride of ownership showing in each and every aspect. Overall very satisfied
