Ella Travel Rest Inn

It was fairly cheap and not too far from the Main Street. Good mosquito net.

It was a sketchy dark road to get to the place. Not very appealing. The bed was the worst with the stay. It was a wooden plank with a thin mattress. The room looked a bit dirty. Dirt on the ceiling and a dirty drain and a broken mirror. We actually considered checking out one day before and change hotel.

The location of the hotel was a bit interior without any street lights. I did not feel very safe walking down the street after sunset. The room was very small and it had no ventilation, The washroom was not clean and water was clogging in the sink. Did not feel it was worth the money.

The room was really quiet, spacious and we had our own balcony. The breakfast was delicious . I highly recommend that place !

It’s very well located between the green area. The view from the balcony is beautiful, because of the trees. The breakfast is delicious.

Because of the restaurants working at night you can hear some music, but it didn’t bother me.

Very calm and nice accommodation in the center of Ella. They are very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They also prepared breakfast for us when we had to leave very early. It was very delicious. We can definitely recommend staying here.

Our best stay in Sri Lanka yet! We’ve been recommending this guest house to other travellers. The room was spacious and clean, it was nice to have our own private balcony, it’s conveniently located within walking distance to all amenities, and the breakfast was really great! Our hosts were lovely and quick to respond if we had any questions. All around a really enjoyable stay!
