Good architecture and cultural feel

Very very good accomodation. We loved it! Basic room but quiet. Friendly family although they don’t speak much English. Also great and cheap massages! Tasty breakfast too! We wanted to extend but weren’t able too!

Nothing. But we miss the 2 month old dog Pico!!

Location is perfect to walk to everything. The family was kind and the breakfast was ok.

I’ve been to Ubud seven different times and usually stay at a homestay in the same area. Homestays are unique because you stay on a family’s property. This family was kind, however they had dogs that barked throughout the night. I realize staying at a homestay can bring noise. I had the AC going, the fan running, my noise maker on, and earplugs and the dogs still were loud because they were right outside my room. I didn’t sleep at all. So if you want to sleep while you are visiting, find another homestay.

The location was ideal, very easy walking distance. The room was simple and the hosts were friendly.

It was reasonably clean could of been a bit cleaner.

It’s a lovely family and they were really sweet. There’s a cute dog name bicky who is just adorable. It’s a great spot for budget traveling. Clean and cozy

Just to park the bike was a bit of a mission as it was on the main road. But most travelers don’t ride scooters anyway but they were helpful to bring it up for us and back down the steep stairs.

We have stayed at this place a total of 4 times over the past 20 years. We LOVE this place. Excellent location that is easy to find and set back from the street so it is quiet and serene. The family that runs this place are so warm and friendly. Our daughters have gotten to know their daughter over the years. Rooms are basic but super clean, comfortable, and have a real Balinese feel to them. Outstanding location close to everything.

No complaints. Highly recommend.
