Sapa Orange Homestay

The view from the bungalow was amazing. Walk down to the swimming hole was great. Lots of fruit trees, a grove of cinnamon trees next to the balcony was a treat. We loved the tour of the Sapa area and surrounding rice fields with the owner.

It’s a bit of a challenging road to get in so I’d recommend staying a couple of days.

I cannot explain in words how amazing this stay was to us, it felt like it was a home from home, the family made us feel like their family. We upgraded to a a bungalow which had air-conditioning and its own shower facilities. the view from the balcony of the waterfall was just spectacular, would definitely recommend.

Nette Gastfamilie und wunderschöne Lage. Motorradtour war echt sehr schön und weit weg von den Touri-Hotspots. Das Essen war sehr lecker, für uns auch vegetarisch. Es gab immer etwas Unterschiedliches und mehr als genug. Ausserdem hatten sie 3 Wochen alte Welpen wo wir da waren.

Essen und Abholung von Sapa sind nicht enthalten und waren im Gegensatz zu unserem restlichen Vietnam-Trip eher auf der teureren Seite. Bad hätte Sauberer sein können.

From the moment me arrived we felt right at home, Lan and her husband Thuan the hosts were both amazing and warm people and we had lovely conversations with them. The food was amazing and the place itself was as well. The rooms were great and clean and the showers were also very clean. On top of that they just opened two new private cabins near the main building. One of the best things about the place is that after a long day of trekking you can come here and walk down a private trail that leads to an amazing waterfall with clean and cool water perfect for swimming. Overall it’s an amazing place with amazing people running it and we highly recommend to stay.

Je komt terecht in een Vietnamees gezin en maakt daar ook echt deel van uit. Lan verwent de gasten met een heerlijk avond diner. Ook overdag kan je een lekker ontbijt of lunch krijgen. Lan is hier geboren en getogen en helpt je graag met het uitstippelen van leuke wandelingen. Je voelt je zo welkom en thuis bij haar. Ze heeft ook onze was gedaan zonder meerkost. Er waren vier puppies geboren net voor onze komst en dat was een magneet voor onze kinderen ...

An amazing and friendly family, making you feel at home. Rooms are basic but good and clean. Shared bathroom clean and tidy. I definitely recommend it for a more relaxed experience with locals, rather than the very touristy and busy city of Sa Pa.

Amazing food (i reccomend to eat with the family), peaceful location, friendly family :) i loved being able to walk to the waterfall and swim. I did the motorbike tour with the family and saw beautiful views of the rice fields with no other tourists. I also loved trying the herbal bath next door. It is about 45min from Sapa so I relaxed most days at the house but if you want to get about I would reccomend byo motorbike.

We absolutely loved staying with Lan and Thuan. It was home away from home in the most beautiful setting with gorgeous views and waterfall on the doorstep. The food was a real highlight of our whole trip to Vietnam. We really enjoyed trekking with Thuan who is an excellent guide. 11/10 recommend - definitely worth the trip!

Lan runs something really special here. We stayed an extra night. Lan will absolutely make you feel at home and so welcome. Plus Lan is so so funny!! Her family dinners are incredible and Lan will help you book a trek and more. Plus there is a HIDDEN WATERFALL!!! Would absolutely recommend to everyone!
