"You want lovely human connection- stay here!!"

10.0

The loviest homestay so far in Vietnam. At the end everything is about connection and they make sure that all the guest feel very welcome and are very well looked after. I helped with cooking during the 2 days that I was there and the food was all fresh and lovely prepared. The father took me for a beautiful motorbike ride through the mountains and rice fields. Not many tourists in the village and when you walk around, the people there are just very friendly. 100 % recommend this place

"Brilliant homestay, lovely people"

9.0

The family was so inviting and helpful. We joined them for a family dinner in the evening, with the owner speaking good English, we chatted away for ages. She even helped us plan more of our motorbike trip, pinning places for us on our Google maps! Breakfast was very good. Bathrooms were spacious, clean and had hot water. Great location in a small peaceful village, with an amazing swimming spot just a 2 minute walk away.

Only thing, which is obviously environmental, was that it was very warm and stuffy in the room. There were two fans we had running which helped a bit with air circulation.

This felt like a home away from home, the peaceful surroundings of the small village, the views, the amazing food they cooked. There is a beautiful spot to swim 10min walking down from there place where the locals go, surrounded by jungle like landscapes and lots of butterflies. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the daily life in the village.

The shared bathroom is downstairs so you had to walk down to go.

"Small but beautiful."

10.0

Delicious pancakes on the terrace with bananas from the garden and home-made pineapple confit, fresh lime juice and a decent cup of coffee - wonderful! The beautiful hostess tries really hard to make your stay here perfect. If you find the full-blown Sapa tourist trap overwhelming, treat yourself to an oasis of calm and authentic village life here at Sapa Orange Homestay.

Nothing.

This was a great place to stay. The host is a lovely woman who works hard to make her business work, but still has time to welcome guests and share her life with those who pass through. The food was amazing, with many different dishes each evening. I am vegetarian and there were always a number of suitable dishes included in the mix. A very relaxing atmosphere ~ somewhere to take time away from the hustle and bustle of the town. There is a path at the back leading down to some quiet pools of water, where I sat for an afternoon watching butterflies. And there is a herbal bath place in the next door house if you fancy steeping yourself in herbs. Highly recommended.

The bed was a bit hard

Amazing farmstay that immediately felt like home! Lan and her family are super welcoming and friendly, and each day she prepares amazing family dinner (different every evening) and breakfast at any time you want. The house is in perfect condition, it has 4 spacious rooms and has a "private" entry to the river/waterfall nearby. The village around it doesn't offer much, apart from a shop and a few small restaurants, but there are short hikes to take in the area and a very interesting herbal bath to try out next door. Just keep in mind that it takes around 45 minutes by car from Sapa to reach the place! But it's perfect for a quiet getaway and for learning more about the culture and life of Ban Ho. And I've met some people that walked straight from Sapa, it could be a nice hike.

"Looking for beautiful nature and magnificent landscapes, local villages and culture and a comfortable stay with the best"

10.0

What an amazing place this is. On the outskirts of Sapa, in the quite village of Ban Ho, is the Orange homestay - one of the most special places I have every been. Overlooking the valley, surrounded by moutains, is Lan’s beautiful home that she warmly welcomes you into. The kindest family I have met: they provide pick-up service from sapa, maintain the cleanest facilities with comfy beds and Lan cooks the most incredible food - honestly family dinner was one of the best meals I have EVER had. The homestay guided us through a treck which explored the local area- we were the only tourists in sight- and we had the opportunity to try a herbal bath which was very calming. Highly recommend doing both activities and the family dinner is a MUST. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay Lan! X
