Coconut Grove

Neatly cleaned big room and toilet. Extra door and windows covered with mosquito net. The balcony and corridor with lush green view. The garden with big trees. Electric kettle, thermoflask, refrigerator, tea kit provided. Special thanks to the host for receiving a percel on behalf of me which was sent by the Home Stay owner of Venitia Home Stay, Alleppey. It was my umbrella which I forgot there . The host guided us with proper information about the local sightseeing and restaurants available nearby. They also allowed us to keep our luggage in a good place downstairs for two hours after the check out . They arranged car for airport drop . Service and behaviour of the host is praiseworthy.

Location wise a little bit far from the market. No food available in the home stay. A veg restaurant is located at a distance of 5-7 minutes distance. The stairs are very risky. No staff available for lifting the luggage upstairs; being an old lady it was very difficult for me to get the luggages to the room in the first floor.

Perfect location to explore Fort Kochi. We felt very much welcomed and had a very comfortable stay.

Absolutely delightful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Great location: near enough to everything but also far enough away as well. Spacious room, simply furnished. Fridge in the room. Excellent communication before, during and after. Recently fitted new bathrooms. Mosquito repellent mesh fitted to all windows, as well as double doors - one of them being mesh. Excellent roof fans (2 in each room). A little rough and ready decoration-wise, as well as cleanliness around the windows/behind the curtains, but nothing anywhere near as awful as other recent stays!. Would I stay here again? Yes.

Amazing location and close to some really good restaurants!

The room was not well ventilated so it got extremely hot.

We had an amazing stay at Coconut Grove. It is the second time I am coming and the rooms are extremely clean. The owner is very nice and very helpful. She waited until late at night to do the check in. Great location to visit Kochi. Thank you!!
